Great awards need great businesses behind them. Could yours be one of them?
An awards ceremony may last one evening. Creating it takes months of planning, technology, creativity, logistics, communication, production and people working together.
Southampton Business Award is interested in businesses that can bring something valuable to that journey. Tell us what you do, and we'll explore where it could fit.
Great awards don't happen by accident.
Every great awards experience has a supply chain behind it.
Maybe you create unforgettable experiences.
Maybe you solve logistical problems.
Maybe you produce brilliant content.
Maybe you provide technology.
Maybe you feed hundreds of people.
Maybe you make brands look extraordinary.
Maybe you simply do something exceptionally well.
What do you do brilliantly?
Choose the one closest to your business.
Could your business become part of the awards?
Six quick questions. We'll show you where your products, services or expertise could fit within the awards journey. No commitment required.
What does your business provide?
Choose one.
An awards night lasts hours. The supply journey starts months earlier.
Before
Help us build it.
During
Help us deliver it.
After
Help the story travel.
Beyond
Build something longer term.
Where appropriate, and where there is mutual fit.
Suppliers are part of the experience.
Do what you do best
Bring your expertise where quality matters.
An awards night is a public moment for everyone in the room. It is a setting where doing something well is noticed.
A real commercial relationship
We're interested in capable suppliers, not collecting business cards.
Where a requirement and a supplier genuinely align, there may be an opportunity to work together. Nothing is guaranteed.
Show what you can do
The strongest demonstration is delivering something exceptionally well.
Where appropriate, your work may become part of the awards experience.
A wider business community
Awards bring businesses together.
Depending on your involvement, there may be relevant professional conversations. Leads are never promised.
Beyond one night
Good relationships don't end when the room empties.
Where there is mutual fit, there may be future requirements to explore.

We don't publish a live requirements list yet.
Rather than show you requirements that may not be real, we keep a register. Tell us what you do, and when a requirement matches, the awards team will contact you.
Register for opportunitiesDon't see your service?
Awards need hundreds of different capabilities.
No list can predict every valuable idea. Tell us what your organisation does and where you believe you could add value.
Introduce my businessWhat kind of relationship are we talking about?
Different requirements may involve different commercial arrangements. These are possibilities, not all available for every requirement.
Commercial supplier
You provide a product or service under an agreed commercial arrangement.
Preferred supplier
A possible ongoing relationship where requirements and performance align.
Value exchange / contra
Products or services exchanged against agreed value or benefits, where appropriate. One option, never an expectation.
Supplier and partner
Some businesses bring both operational capability and strategic value.
Supplier and sponsor
Some organisations also choose to invest in visibility or category association.
Supplying does not require sponsorship. Sponsorship does not create supplier status.
Each relationship stands on its own commercial merits. We value what suppliers do, and we don't ask for services in exchange for “exposure”.
Good supplier relationships work both ways.
How we aim to work with every supplier:
Clear briefs
Clear expectations
Agreed commercial terms
Professional communication
Appropriate procurement
Mutual accountability
Fair consideration
Exploring?
Register supplier interest
Short and fast. Your business, your website and, in a line or two, what makes you different.
Ready to be considered?
Create my supplier profile
Six short steps, not a procurement form. Detailed documents only when a requirement needs them.
Your capability may have value beyond the ceremony. Where a genuine programme exists within the wider awards community, suppliers may be invited to explore it separately, with consent.
What are you really looking to do?
A videographer quoting to film the night is a supplier; one co-creating a founder series is a creator. Every route has its own page.
Know a business?
Who does something brilliantly that the awards could use?
The caterer everyone recommends, the AV team that never misses a cue, the printer who saves the day. Send them this page; they decide whether to introduce themselves.
What suppliers ask us
What kinds of suppliers are you looking for?+
Businesses that could make the awards better, smoother, more memorable or more valuable, before, during or after the ceremony. The picker at the top of this page shows the main areas, and we are open to things we have not thought of.
Do you only work with local suppliers?+
Many requirements are local to the ceremony, and some (technology, content, design, print) can be delivered from anywhere. Tell us where you deliver and we will consider you for the requirements that fit.
Are opportunities paid?+
Supplier relationships are commercial arrangements agreed individually. Value exchange (contra) is one possible model where both sides want it; it is never the expectation.
Do we have to sponsor to supply?+
No. Supplying does not require sponsorship, and sponsorship does not create supplier status. Each relationship stands on its own commercial merits.
How are suppliers selected?+
Against the requirement: capability, relevant experience, coverage, capacity, lead time, commercial terms and any insurance or compliance it needs. The awards team decides.
What if you already use another supplier?+
Requirements change from year to year, and between events. Register supplier interest and we will contact you when a requirement matches what you do.
Could this be more than one event?+
Where there is mutual fit, possibly. Tell us whether you are interested in one event or a wider relationship.
What happens after we register?+
The team reviews what you do against current and future requirements and gets in touch personally when there is a match. Registering is not a contract or an appointment.
What do you do brilliantly?
Maybe you create experiences, or capture moments.
Maybe you build technology, or feed people.
Maybe you make events run perfectly.
Maybe you provide something we haven't even thought about yet.

We'd like to know you exist.
